THE HISTORY OF CANTINA I BRÈ

Today the company is under the leadership of their son Corrado, who after years of experience at Cinzano, decided to carry on the family tradition with the same inspired passion and dedication as his parents.

In the beginning there were just a few hectares to work with. With time and hard work gradually Corrado began to acquire more land for planting, bringing him closer to his goal of creating a reputable and much sought after brand. Today the company has 20 hectares of privately owned vineyard of which 4 for are dedicated to the growth of  Dolcetto;  2 Barbera; 1.5 Verduno Pelaverga; 2 Nebbiolo Langhe; 1.5  Nebbiolo D’Alba; and 9 for Nebbiolo da Barolo. The remaining 5 are presently used to grow hazelnuts.

Beyond tending to the land, Corrado has worked tirelessly to expand the company’s production facility acquiring  state of the art equipment,,  high quality oak barrels, and modern steel tanks.

I Brè is a small family run company that provides a unique representation of the today’s wine scene in Langhe, one that offers a perfect blend of tradition and innovation.
